| Tornadoes Walk It Off for 24th Win of Season | The Kansas City Tornadoes took Quebec pitcher Xavier Maya's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Debris Field. The final score had Kansas City getting past the Armada, 2-1. Maya went 9 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 3. The last-place Armada have lost 4 straight games.
Kansas City won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Chris Coady on the mound for Quebec, catcher Bobby Douberly hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Tornadoes fans to their feet.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Quebec manager Jorge Morales. "Obviously."
