Beetlecats Win 4-2 Walk-Off

Buzzard's Bay pitcher Andrew Welborn did his part in helping his team beat the Frisco Rams, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win was Justin Keling's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jeff Van Wormer took the loss for Frisco. Losses have been few and far between for the Rams so far this season. Their record drops to 13-6.

Buzzard's Bay won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Jeff Van Wormer on the mound for Frisco, third baseman C.J. Devers hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Beetlecats fans to their feet.

Welborn said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
