Benefiting from Rich Montague's productive game, the Riverside Red Bulls downed the Bristol Robins, 6-3. Montague went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Red Bulls. The winner was Javier Figueroa, who threw 91 pitches over 5 innings. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits. Ramon Trinidad sewed up the save, his 5th.
Montague had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Red Bulls went on to win.
