| Suzuki, Earthquakes Hammer Toreros | The San Francisco Earthquakes powered past the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 11-0, at Field de Los Layendas. Tatsuhito Suzuki went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. Ijaz Kharoti got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The Earthquakes, now 16-18, know that wins in May count the same as wins in September.
One important at-bat for San Francisco came with two out in the top of the ninth inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Suzuki hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Earthquakes win.
