| Shamrocks Come Back Late, Nip Hawks | Boise catcher Victor Chapa was sensational. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Pacifica beat the Hawks, 5-4. Chapa was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Hawks, now 5-12, continue their slow start.
The Shamrocks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Nate Moran turned a full count fastball from Danny Horn into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Pacifica a thrilling 5-4 win.
"This place was jumping at the end," Moran said.
