| Beehive Lose, 6-4, at The Corn Crib | The DeKalb Cornhuskers topped the Madison Beehive, 6-4, in Roy Halladay League action at The Corn Crib. The player of the game was DeKalb left fielder Mat Martin. DeKalb reliever Tim Medlin was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Leon Green took the loss. The Beehive, now 4-10, continue their slow start.
Bruce Fleet aided the DeKalb cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Fleet.
