| Hellcats Take Nail-Biter Over Vesuvius | Jacksonville left-hander Davy Holland made an effective start against the Cape Verde Vesuvius at Hellcats Park, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Jacksonville reliever Mario Cruz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Francisco Morales took the loss. Jacksonville, now 6-10, is off to a slow start.
