| Rams Subdue Jacksonville, 4-2 | Jacksonville pitcher Mike Marquez gave the Rams all they could handle, but in the end, Frisco left Outlander Park with a 4-2 win. Marquez allowed 2 earned runs on 9 hits over 6 innings. Getting the save was Bryan Sobolik, his 1st. Frisco, now 12-4, is setting the league on fire so far.
The Rams got a big at-bat from right fielder Justin Jacks. For the game, Jacks went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Frisco a 3-2 lead.
Jacksonville manager Ben McBean said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
