| Rockhounds Continue Skid Thanks to Adams, Mustangs | With first baseman Lance Adams leading the charge, the Mile High Mustangs defeated the Midland Rockhounds, 4-2, at McNichols Stadium. Adams, who is tied for 9th in the TML in extra base hits with 15, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. José López, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings. Danny Reliford was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.
Adams had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Mustangs went on to win.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Mile High manager Kinnojo Shirai. "It's usually not just one thing."
The misery continues for the Rockhounds, which has now dropped 12 in a row.
