| 8 Straight Wins for Rams | With third baseman Jim Dixon leading the charge, the Frisco Rams defeated the Jacksonville Hellcats, 9-2, at Outlander Park. Dixon, who is tied for 9th in the CLL in bases on balls with 10, was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With their winning streak at 8, the Rams have raced to a strong start this season.
Dixon had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Rams went on to win.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Dixon. "The only team that can beat us is us."
