Multi-HR Day for Carranza as Tune-Ups Overpower Hawks, 3-2

The Youngstown Tune-Ups trumped the Boise Hawks, 3-2, at Basque Block Field. Youngstown center fielder Antonio Carranza was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Getting the save was Dave Dyke, his 6th. The Hawks, now 4-10, continue their slow start.

Carranza had a key at-bat for Youngstown early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Youngstown an early 2-0 lead.
