| Victory Pushes Storm Troopers Record to 8-7 | With first baseman John Sheridan leading the charge, the San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Madison Beehive, 7-2, at The Hive. Sheridan, who is tied for 6th in the RHL in home runs with 3, went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Vincenzo Rizzoli earned the win for San Antonio. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 8. With the win, he raised his record to 2-1. Getting the save was Peter Schwob, his 1st.
Vaughan Bradley, who is tied for 5th in the RHL in RBI with 12, aided the San Antonio cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the second. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.
"We did a lot of things right," said Sheridan.
The Beehive fall to 4-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2038 season.
