| Storm Troopers Stymie Madison, Take 8-0 Win | The San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Madison Beehive, 8-0. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Sok-man Lee, who was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. San Antonio reliever Tim Carson picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Mike Weschler was collared with the loss. The Beehive, now 4-8, continue their slow start.
Chase Hoene aided the San Antonio cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lee told reporters after the game.
