| Rams Come Back Late to Clip Hellcats | Frisco beat Jacksonville at Outlander Park, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Perry Maniscalco, who earned player of the game honors. Jeff Van Wormer got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. The Hellcats fall to 5-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
Josh Hilbert was the walk-off hero for Frisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rams designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Hilbert told reporters after the game.
