| Shamrocks Come Back Late to Clip Bullets | The Pacifica Shamrocks did just enough to sneak past the Biloxi Bullets, 3-2, at The Sand Dune. Pacifica pitcher Luis Santana earned player of the game honors. With their winning streak at 5, the Shamrocks have raced to a strong start this season.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Orlando Sanchez. For the game, Sanchez went 1 for 1. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 1st hit of the season gave Pacifica a 3-2 lead.
"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Santana. "But I like how we're playing right now."
