| Hellcats Win at Silicon Valley, 6-3 | Jacksonville designated hitter Kuniaki Tanaka was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Silicon Valley Hackers. He was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Jacksonville. Davy Holland picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 1-1. The save was Mario Cruz's, his 4th.
Jacksonville used a timely hit from Jeff Dotson to get the win. The left fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hellcats on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I try to not think too much," said Dotson.
The Hackers drop to 6-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
