| Monarchs Win at Biloxi, 7-4 | Biloxi got a terrific game from first baseman Héctor García. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Marysville, 7-4. García was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The save was credited to A.J. Schneider, his 3rd. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Monarchs hope to make a postseason run.
Cristián Rojas aided the Marysville cause with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1-5, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Rojas told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
