| Mustang Lose, 3-1, at The Hive | The Hive was the site of a tense game between the Carson City Mustang and Madison Beehive.
Madison Beehive starter Leon Green was in fine form against the Carson City Mustang at The Hive, leading his team to a 3-1 win. Madison is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 4th in 10 games.
Gene Rush drew 1 walk for Madison. The 26-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Kevin Murphy. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Madison skipper Kiyomori Shimizu.
