| Cornhuskers Topple Ducks with Late Rally | DeKalb starter Andrew Thompson pitched effectively against the Long Island Ducks at The Corn Crib. The right-hander led his team to a 8-5 win. The Ducks drop to 5-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
Scott Tuff was the walk-off hero for DeKalb. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cornhuskers second baseman hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Tuff said.
