Youngstown third baseman Mario Cruz had a good game, even if his team did not. The Tune-Ups dropped a 11-6 decision to Frisco at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Cruz went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs. The Rams keep rolling, raising their record to 7-4.

Frisco used the timely hitting of Jonathan Vera to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rams on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Vera.
