| Marauders Turn Back Wichita, 5-3 | Bradenton starter Noah Zwicker pitched effectively against the Wichita Wolverines at The Field at Bradenton. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Zwicker, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 3 earned runs. Mario Michaca got the save, the 1st for him this season.
John Clancy aided the Bradenton cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks.
Zwicker called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
Bradenton is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 4th in 11 games.
