| Aces Prevail, 7-6, Over Belfast | The Las Vegas Aces did just enough to sneak past the Belfast Titanic, 7-6, at Ship Yard. Las Vegas first baseman Kol-in-sen Koo earned player of the game honors. Las Vegas reliever Tom Wilson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Brett Johnson was saddled with the loss. The 4th-place Aces improved to 15-19.
Had Ricardo Ugarte not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Ugarte hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Aces.
Koo expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
