| Shamrocks Prevail, 4-2, Over Buzzard's Bay | Pacifica Shamrocks starter Bill Schindler was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 4-2. Billy Boyd earned his 3rd save in 3 tries. The Beetlecats drop to 4-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from center fielder Jose Salgado. For the game, Salgado was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Pacifica a 2-1 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Schindler told the Pacifica Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
