| Spartans Prevail, 4-2, Over Spokane | Sandy Springs Spartans starter Manuel Montoya pitched a strong game against the Spokane Bulldogs at The Coliseum, leading the Spartans to a 4-2 win. Bryan Marks finished to wrap up his 1st save. The Spartans, with only their 1st win in 9 games, have not had much to write home about in 2038.
Yasushi Hagiwara had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Spartans. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Sandy Springs trailing 2-1, he hit a 3-run home run.
