| Inouye Helps Riverside Cruise to 11-3 Win | It was a good time at Red Bull Stadium, where fans came to watch the Boise Hawks and Riverside Red Bulls get after it.
The Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Boise Hawks, 11-3, at Red Bull Stadium today. Leading the charge for Riverside was catcher Hiroshige Inouye. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Trey Puglisi got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1.
Inouye had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Red Bulls went on to win.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Inouye said. "We did a good job of that today."
The Hawks drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
