| Nance goes 4-for-5, Pioneers Move to 1-0 | The Vancouver Pioneers opened their 2038 season with a triumph over the Bloomington Blazers at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. The final score was 8-4. Vancouver center fielder Justin Nance had a big game. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Dan Miscavage picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work.
