| Bullets Score Late, Top Beetlecats, 4-3 | The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 4-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Bloomfield Road, with Biloxi first baseman Héctor García named player of the game. Biloxi reliever Vic Horn picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Anton Garcia absorbed the loss. The Bullets, now 6-3, have been playing some good baseball.
Chris Walker was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 4 runs for Biloxi. The 24-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Tien Tran-Dinh. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
