te Wierik came through with some timely hitting for Buzzard's Bay. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and no one down, te Wierik hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. His 9th hit of the season made it 1-0, Buzzard's Bay.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Buzzard's Bay manager Cal Gray.
