| Red Bulls Bang Out 12-5 Win Versus Jacksonville | The Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Jacksonville Hellcats, 12-5, in Cory Lidle League action at Hellcats Park, with Riverside pitcher Javier Figueroa named player of the game. In 5.1 innings, Figueroa surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Red Bulls hope to make a postseason run.
The Red Bulls got a big at-bat from second baseman Ryan Ebberson. For the game, Ebberson was 1-5 with a double and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 2nd double of the season gave Riverside a 3-0 lead.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Figueroa said.
