San Antonio got a strong outing from Danny Moreno as the Storm Troopers defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 4-1, at The Clone Army. Ryan Davis got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from center fielder Tyler Thompson. For the game, Thompson went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave San Antonio a 3-0 lead.
Thompson told a San Antonio Chronicle reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
The win pushes San Antonio to a record of 3-4.
