| Late Rally by Mustangs Secures Win | The Mile High Mustangs trumped the Quebec Armada, 7-5, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Mile High right fielder David Morales was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mile High reliever Amirtharaj Nagaraja got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Juan Amaya was tagged with the loss. Danny Reliford got credit for the save for Mile High. It was his 9th of the year.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Levi Meeuwenberg. For the game, Meeuwenberg went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Mile High a 7-5 lead.
"We played hard and won," said Morales. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
The Mustangs' win now puts them at 15-20.
