| Robins Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start | Bristol played host to Buzzard's Bay at the friendly confines of Ashton Gate.
Bobby Rodriguez never let the Beetlecats get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Robins to a 5-0 win. In 6.2 innings, Rodriguez surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed no runs.
The Robins got a big at-bat from first baseman Winn Miller. For the game, Miller was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Bristol a 2-0 lead.
"It's a long season," said Miller. "We'll keep working to improve."
