| Bullets Win at Cape Verde, 4-3 | The Biloxi Bullets dealt the Cape Verde Vesuvius a 4-3 loss at Conduit Caverns. Dave Alejo was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs. Biloxi reliever Taylor MacRuer was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Carlos Quiñones took the loss for Cape Verde. Danny Suarez got the save, the 1st for him this season.
Héctor García aided the Biloxi cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," García told the Biloxi Daily News.
The Bullets, now 4-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.
