The Rock River Rats got a stellar performance from pitcher Kazue Fujita, who handcuffed the DeKalb offense en route to a 3-2 win at The Corn Crib. Bryan Jackowitz picked up the save for Rock River, his 1st of the year. Losses have been rare for the Cornhuskers, who are now 3-1.

Brian Arms aided the Rock River cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Fujita said after the game.
