| Aces Prevail, 3-2, Over Havana | The Las Vegas Aces faced a tough opponent in Havana pitcher Jimmy Hunter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Sin City Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Hunter went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Las Vegas reliever Nelson Cardona got the win, raising his record to 4-2. Aaron Lyons was tagged with the loss. At 14-19, the Aces find themselves in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
Las Vegas took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, center fielder Callum Mannion hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Las Vegas manager Dave Maloney.
