| Bombers Prevail, 3-2, Over Cabo San Lucas | The South Carolina Bombers got a stellar effort from pitcher Braden Halladay, helping South Carolina score a 3-2 win over the visiting Cabo San Lucas Toreros. Halladay went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 3-2. The win brings the Bombers to 12-19, a soft start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from third baseman Bryce Pope. For the game, Pope was 1-3. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 26th hit of the season gave South Carolina a 3-2 lead.
