Hicks Hits 2 home runs in Bullets Win

Bullets shortstop Dusty Hicks put his stamp on his team's 15-8 win over the Bristol Robins. Hicks was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Biloxi in the contest. The Bullets keep rolling, raising their record to 2-0.

The Bullets got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Keaton Hewitt. For the game, Hewitt went 1 for 1 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Biloxi a 10-8 lead.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Hewitt told the Biloxi Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
