| Marauders Prevail, 6-4, Over Vancouver | The Maple Marauders knocked off the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-4, at Legends Park. Manny de la Cruz, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Maple won. The right fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Marauders bumped their record to 19-15 with this latest triumph.
Francisco González, who is tied for 7th in the TML in triples with 2, chipped in for Maple with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," González told the Maple Today.
