| Texans Win in Glorious Fashion | The Dallas Texans knocked off the San Diego Hops, 9-8, at Metroplex Park. Beauregard Duke, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Dallas won. The catcher was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Dallas reliever Austin Hearn got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jimmy Shumaker was tagged with the loss. San Diego now has a 5-game losing streak.
