| Coal Miners Score Late, Upend Mustangs, 7-3 | Antioch starter Bob Tamez pitched effectively against the Billings Mustangs at Cobb Field. The right-hander led his team to a 7-3 win. Antioch reliever Joe Greves got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Everton Mailes was tagged with the loss. The first-place Coal Miners now have a 6-game winning streak.
Travis Stanford's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a changeup from Everton Mailes for a run-scoring single. It put Antioch in front, 4-3.
