| Coal Miners Score Late to Upend Mustangs, 6-5 | Antioch met Billings in a late-season showdown at Cobb Field.
Antioch withstood an impressive performance by Billings first baseman Jimi van der Pol to defeat the Mustangs, 6-5, at Cobb Field. van der Pol went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Sung-your Park converted his 37th save in 44 tries.
The Coal Miners got a big at-bat from right fielder Bobby Wilson. For the game, Wilson went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave Antioch a 6-5 lead.
"Nervous? No," said Wilson. "It was my time to shine."
