Multi-HR Game for Rizzo in 11-9 Win

The Cabo San Lucas Toreros defeated the South Carolina Bombers, 11-9, at Bomber Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Cabo San Lucas was center fielder Mike Rizzo. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Mike Foust earned the save, his 12th. The win brings the Toreros to 19-12, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Rizzo had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from David Williams, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Toreros a 10-9 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Rizzo.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Cisco Sánchez.
