Cats Mow Down Phantoms, 10-3

Fort Worth center fielder Javier Santos made his presence felt in the 10-3 Cats triumph over the Coronado Phantoms. Santos was 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Edwin Bustamante got credit for the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. Cyprien Bataille was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 3 save opportunities.

The Cats got a big at-bat from shortstop Lyle Wolochow. For the game, Wolochow went 3-6 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 152nd hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 4-3 lead.
