| Death Stars Trip Bumblebees in Extras | Fans who congregated at The Hole were treated to extra-inning drama.
Detroit starter Sergio Solis had a strong outing against the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Detroit reliever Ben Bower was credited with the win, to go to 5-6. Zachary Royster took the loss for Pasadena.
Edwin Ruiz aided the Detroit cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the tenth. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
"We did a lot of things right," said Ruiz.
Detroit improves to 89-67 with the win. They lead their division by 7½ games.
