| Death Stars Get Road Win, 5-0 | The Detroit Death Stars grabbed a 5-0 win over the Reno Raiders at House of Pain. Detroit third baseman Reynaldo Canseco was 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Reliever Alex Rivas picked up the win. His record improves to 16-5. Alejandro Fernandez took the loss. The Death Stars bumped their record to 86-67 with this latest triumph.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Canseco hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Death Stars into the lead, 2-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Canseco. "And not try to do too much."
