| Coal Miners Beat Visiting Kodiaks, 6-4 | A 4-RBI performance from right fielder Bobby Wilson led the Antioch Coal Miners to a 6-4 win over the Calgary Kodiaks. Matsuyo Koda got the win, improving to 17-5. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Antioch is now 98-54, 6˝ games up in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League.
Wilson had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Coal Miners went on to win.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Wilson.
