| Kodiaks Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The Calgary Kodiaks overcame a good performance by Peoria shortstop Miguel Rangel to knock off Peoria, 6-5, at Foothills Stadium. Rangel was 4-6 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. The Kodiaks bumped their record to 90-58 with this latest triumph.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 14th. With Calgary trailing 5-4, John Bidwell hit a fastball from Nick Clouse to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Kodiaks had a walk-off win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Bidwell.
