Multi-HR Day for Manzo as Bears Overpower Baristas, 6-1

The Birmingham Bears grabbed a 6-1 win over the Silver Lake Baristas at Ashton Gate. Birmingham first baseman Victor Manzo belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice to earn player of the game honors. Birmingham is now 62-88.

Manzo had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Bears went on to win.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Silver Lake manager Diego Aguirre.
