Argonauts Mow Down Mustangs, 9-2

It was a good time at Golden Fleece Park, where fans came to watch the Billings Mustangs and Astoria Argonauts get after it.

The Astoria Argonauts beat the Billings Mustangs, 9-2, at Golden Fleece Park. The Argonauts got a fine performance from catcher Morgan Catterall, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Chris Pelton, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 9-8.

Jiro Takahashi hit a 2-run double off Bill Piner in the bottom of the second, which put the Argonauts in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Takahashi had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
