| Baristas Come Back Late to Top Phantoms | The Silver Lake Baristas topped the Coronado Phantoms, 4-2, in RCL AAA action at Phantoms Field. The player of the game was Silver Lake pitcher Jesús Espinosa. The win was credited to Alex Figueroa in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mario Cruz took the loss. The first-place Baristas have a one-game lead in their division.
Had Vernon Prest not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Prest hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Baristas.
